i definetly have been inspired the most by streetart characters. graffiti was a big influence when i was a teenager, later it have been the guys who started getting their work off the street and into the computer with keeping the style, like 123klan, superdeux, flying fortress and many others. of course the whole street scene got influences by cartoons, manga and whatnot, so its a wild mix. What got me hooked the most was the fat lines, the reduction of details and the cellshading that has clearly it’s origin in working with aerosol on the wall. so, i actually don’t know what i would call my style, but when i started posting it on flickr years ago i got invited to all those streetart groups for sharing my stuff there without having that much pictures of me painting a wall, so i guess most people would sort my style into that area, even when it’s mainly digital.
